The History of the M-65 Field Jacket

The M-65 Field Jacket - an recognizable and iconic staple of the military, collectors, and for streetwear. Its role in the Vietnam War and its popularity after, has made its mark in history.

The M-65 or M-1965 Field Jacket was an upgraded replacement for the M-1951 Field Jacket. This new design led to the M-65 being the most widely used military jacket design ever. The design can found to this day in military surplus and commercial reproductions.
